I can't find that Buildcraft is updated to 1.5 either honestly... but maybe Fatal has access to some beta versions or something... Someone on the server told me that it was updated, so I told him it was updated. I don't recall who told me, so the fault is on me, so far it does not look like it is. (we checked) |

Here's my 20 cents into this situations.
1. Redpower + Twilight = Instance riches. (Not good/fair)
2. Redpower tends to keep me from being productive and wastes my time.
3. There are MANY chunks without redpower, buildcraft, fossils, and the whole server is messed up with Apricorns.
I have a shiny vulpix, ponyta, geodude, two enormous pokes with a nature that I want, and a LOT of items/minerals. Even some illegally acquired TM's from the first bosses. As well as three bosses of my own... and a LOT of work put into structures that will be gone... I may take a picture before the reset..
But I'm okay with the reset... slightly...

Hello I have never been on this server but i can see that it is having problems because of the update. I would just like to say that I have a bulkkit server for 1.5.1 (for those who say its not out yet). Also ifyou require help with rebuliding the old server map into a new one I would love to help.

I probably should have asked him if he planned to save this map just in case Redpower 2 did in fact update itself. Maybe they aren't updating the mod. Or maybe it's quite a large mod and they are adding alot of stuff to it for 1.5.1, I honestly don't know. I know he did say he will wait 6 months for the mod to update, so maybe he is saving the old map for later then. That might not be a bad idea, we could start a new map with the updated mods and without rp2. And if and when rp2 updates, we could start up our current map again. |

I have worked WAYY too hard over the past 3 months to lose everything over a stupid server restart, over mods which don't even relate to the core mod of the server; Pixelmon.

It was mentioned that it may be possible for our pokemon to be salvaged. I dunno the details and if this means the exact ones we have now or if we would just get replacements.

Someone did suggest that restarting the whole server should be put up to a vote, though I'm not sure how well that would work.

Please, whoever has connection problems, do not talk about it here. As you should know, this is about a server restart, not your connection problems. If you have any issues, please post them in the help forum.
Now that I've said that and it's out of the way, I'd vote yes for a restart. The fact that I can get enough iron for tons of anvil from 1 cave is something I don't mind. Twilight Forest is unique, as many dungeons have spawners and bosses. RP2 had always been something I just ignored and never played with. Personally, BC should stay to help find fossils and bauxite. Also, my Flygon is useless! I want to replace him with a new dragon type sooo bad >.<
There's my 2 cents.

Sure, you'd be fine with losing everything, and having to rebuild, but what about the stuff i built? My city, ALL my items, 3 months of hard work, gone. This isnt just me, Eria doesnt want to lose anything either, and many others. Think about the other players and not yourself. |
