Forge (until Plugin API comes out for Minecraft, this is needed for tons of interesting mods)
Pixelmon
Custum Npc's
Buildcraft
RedPower 2
Twilight Forest
Some people started to count their "vote" in the other thread. I really only meant it for discussion but did expect for people to start "voting" on this or that. I had purposely kept from starting a poll on the other thread because how the question is asked in the first place will shape what people say.
I want to start counting votes, but not for if we should restart or not or if we should leave behind Red Power 2. What I want to count votes on in this thread is which mods matter most to people in what order. Using this info I think Fatal could get a better idea for what the people on the server want in general and could make a fair-er decision (if he hasn't already decided) when the time comes.
First though I want to link a video that will help people understand the voting system I'm trying to apply:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Y3jE3B8HsE
The problems he lists with the voting system are in regards to electing representatives and to physical boundaries voters are grouped in. For this vote we gerrymandering isn't an issue and we aren't electing a "winner" or representative.
What I expect for this thread is everyone posts ONCE, of course you can go back and EDIT your post but only post once so that its easy to count up the votes. You can rank only the mods most important to you or rank all of them if you want.
Technically what I think is supposed to happen if you leave certain things un-voted or ranked is, if all of the things you voted for are eliminated from the vote, you technically aren't counted in the vote. Lets see if I can come up with an example of this...
Lets say you only rank RedPower 2 and leave out any other mod from your rankings, but Fatal decides to leave behind RP2 after all. Your vote of "only" RP2 wouldn't be counted and he has no info from you about any other mods you also might care about. so your vote is technically not there at that point.
EDIT-----
I (or maybe one of the admins?) will edit this post and update the counts when more people vote.
